Lily and Luke had their first dentist check up yesterday. I was a little nervous because whenever I would bring it up, Lily would say, "I don't need to go. I don't have a cabity." She did great! She hugged the hygienist and the dentist! She sat still in the chair while her teeth were cleaned and was perfect during the x-rays. She was loving all the attention! Then she got to put coins in the toy machine and got a big pink bouncy ball. She was in heaven! I held Luke during his examine (which is why there are no pictures) and she said they looked great! Both got new toothbrushes and stickers.

I'm glad Luke and Lily had a good experience for their first dental visit. At the children's dentist office that I took Andy, Bryan and Kimberly to...they had a hygienist from hell. When they got old enough they refused to go to that dentist office anymore. :-)

Kaitlyn and Kristen LOVED their pediatric dentist/orthodontist office and were very sad when he threw them out when they turned 18 (they didn't want to leave). However, when Kristen was thinking about college she wanted to be a dentist, but decided she didn't want to go to school that long. Kaitlyn HAS finally declared her major for Dental Hygienist. She is finishing up her 40 hours of observation this week for her medical school app. I'm hoping she can go to work for her favorite pediatric dentist when she gets out of school. I think Dr. Parker was a great influence on both my girls.
