Lily will be 3 in one month. I can't believe I already have a 3 year old. Lily is becoming her own little person with a very sweet and independent personality. It's always, "I can do it myself!". Sometimes the things she says gives me a flash forward to the teenage years and I'm a little scared! I wish I could remember all of the things she says does that makes me wonder if she is 3 or 13. Seriously. This girl is already getting a little attitude! She is too cute for her own good!

Lily can write her name!
We've been practicing writing the letters in her name. She's already caught on that it's hard work and now when I ask her to write her name, she says she's tired!
She can identify about half of the letters and knows 5 or 6 sounds. She can count to 13 and can identify numbers 1,3,8 and 10. She can also identify pentagons and octagons.

Lily loves animals. She gets so excited when I let her get the eggs from the chicken coop. I can't wait to move to our land and have the kids grow up with lots of animals.
Her hair is getting so long!

I can't believe that she will be turning 3 either. She is such a pretty child and smart too. She should just be able to skip kindergarten and go right to first grade. :-) I think it's wonderful that she loves animals and that she has had exposure to different kinds of animals.
