Santa has been here....
and he brought me a new car!
Chris called me on Christmas Eve and asked me if I wanted a new car! I've really wanted a car with two back seats so Lily and Luke could both be in the middle in their car seats. Chris bought me a black suburban. It's huge compared to my Rav4, but much safer and can haul stuff to the farm. I just hope I can park it!
Excited, but still sleepy.
I tried to get the video camera ready before Lily ran to the den, but she was too quick. She saw all the presents and said, "This is the best Christmas EVER!" It was so cute! Even the dogs knew something exciting was happening!
Luke really likes Lily's new art station. He hasn't been off it since!
Chris was being silly and wrapped a can of beans. If you know Chris or Frankie, this is not a surprise. Lily opened it and said, "I love beans!"

I know it was an exciting time at your house on Christmas morning. Chris definitely has his Dad's since of humor regarding the beans. At least Lily said that she loved them. Heather, I love your new automobile. Really sharpe looking. Plenty of room for everyone plus the dogs, chickens, ducks and goats. :-) I'm sure with practice Heather you will become a pro at parking it.

I love our Yukon X-L. It's our "travel" vehicle. We had a suburban before that. The girls really needed a seat to themselves (no "she's touching me" comments). And when they were much younger, we would fold down the middle seat, set up the TV between the driver's and passenger seats (before they put them in vehicles) and the girls would sit in the back seat (with their seatbelts on) for "suburban theatre." LOL
