PLAYING WITH PLAY DOUGH!

Lily really loves play dough! We made grape Kool-aid play dough a few months ago and it was a big hit. We have play dough time almost every day and Lily is learning how to make all kinds of little critters with it. She always asks me to make her a worm, snake and caterpillar. Yes, these are all the same just different sizes! This poor child doesn't have any real play dough tools, but has just as much fun with plastic utensils, rolling pins and stamps. Don't worry, Santa is bringing lots of play dough accessories!
A few days ago we tried strawberry, but it doesn't smell as good as the grape!

Kool-Aid Play Dough Recipe:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup salt
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cups boiling water
2 packages unsweetened
Kool-Aid

Mix dry ingredients. Add oil and water. Wearing gloves, knead for 10 minutes. Store in zip lock bag in refrigerator.

Not to worry is right. Santa already has some play dough accessories hidden away in the bedroom closet.

Oh how fun. I remember when mine played with play-doh. We just used the store bought kind. Heather, you are so creative. It's really neat that you can make the dough have a nice smell to it.
:-)Love, Mimi

That is a great idea to have play-doh that has a good smell. I can't stand the smell of real play-doh - it makes me want to gag! hahaha
