9 MONTHS OLD

Our little boy is 9 months old! He is getting so big and is learning new things every day.

Luke got his front two teeth on 9-2-10. He now has 6 teeth and loves to eat everything! His favorites right now are Oatios, puffs, cheese, carrots, green peas and noodles. I'm still trying to get the last few jars of baby food down him, but he's pretty much over it. Why eat baby food when you can eat the real thing?

Luke has been cruising around for awhile, but just learned how to get down (9-1-10) without falling. I don't remember Lily having so many bumps and bruises. I think it must be a boy thing! Now he's into everything! He even opened the cabinet in the kitchen, pulled everything out and crawled inside! This week he has been getting into the ficus tree and his all time favorite is trying to get the little plastic cover at the bottom of the toilet. I know, it's gross!

I just started trying to get him up to walk behind this push toy. He is starting to get his little feet to move! It's so cute!
We have been working on waving bye and he will do it off and on. We are also working on signing "more" which I think he tried to do this past week (9-12-10)! He is saying Mama and Dada all the time and looks at us when you ask where Mama and Dada are. He is starting to clap his hands and gets the biggest smile when you clap your hands and say, "Yea!" He is also banging objects together, which he thinks is really funny. His favorite games are Peek a Boo and trying to bite Mommy and Lily. The last one is not so fun!

Luke is still very much a Mommy's boy. He would be so happy if I held him 24 hours a day, but he doesn't always get his wish! It's so sad when I put him down and he cries like his little heart is broken. He loves to play with Lily and thinks she the funniest big sister!

I will update his stats tomorrow after check up and flu shots for both kids. I'm not looking forward to it!
