Wow, how this child has grown! It's just a few more months until her 3rd birthday (and believe me, she knows it!) and I can not believe it! 
We started story time again at the library and Lily loves it. She gets so excited when we get home with our library books and wants to read them all the time. 
ROCK ON!!
We have made a break through with counting!! Gone is 1,2,8,9,10 and now Lily can count all the way to 15!! She is recognizing more letters every day and consistent with the sounds she knows. Her vocabulary is growing every day as well. I'm always amazed when she comes up with new words. Her new favorites are huge and enormous. Everything is huge and enormous!
This little girl loves to be outside and search for bugs in the dirt! She calls herself an animal rescuer just like Diego and is always finding an animal in trouble. She is learning lots of Spanish too (a video soon!). Lily is taking naps all by herself now. We read a book, I make her a nest (stack pillows up around her) and then say night-night! We still have to lay down with her at night, but I keep telling myself she will be sleeping on her own soon!I wish I could remember all the funny and sassy things she says every day. She really is starting to get a little personality and sometimes, a little too sassy! When we are playing make believe I try to go along by making things up and the way she says, "Mommy, it's not real." makes me laugh every time! Yesterday she said, "Hush, Mommy." When I told her not to tell me to hush, she said, "I didn't say hush up." She is too smart for her own good!

Lily is getting to be such a big girl. I can't believe that in just a couple of years she will be starting kindergarten. I know she will be one of the smartest in her class. I wish we could see ya'll more often. They are growing so fast. :-)
