LOTS TO CATCH UP ON PART 2: RIVERBANK ZOO, SC

Lily got her first Zoo experience while we were in Columbia, SC. We went to the Riverbanks Zoo & Gardens and had a great time. The weather was perfect (76 degrees!) and the Zoo is small so we got to see everything in just a few hours. I was surprised at how attentive Lily was to all the animals. She really watch them as they moved around their cages. I think she is going to be an animal lover like her mommy and daddy!

Merry and I used to live in an apartment across the river from the zoo. When the wind was blowing in the right direction, we could hear the monkeys making a racket! Seeing the pictures of the zoo reminds me how much I miss Columbia. The zoo has changed (for the better) quite a bit since I lived there.

We do have a nice zoo. It's not too big and easy to walk around. Lily seemed to enjoy the zoo too. She looked at all the animals. I had an enjoyable day with both of you and Great-Grandmother. Love, Mimi :-)
