LILY IS 10 MONTHS OLD!

I can't believe my baby is almost 1 year old! This year has gone by so quickly. It seems like she was just starting to roll over a few months ago and now she is almost walking! Of course I have already started working on Lily's Big Numero Uno and I can't wait to see Lily's face when she sees her big cupcake. The lit candle, on the other hand, might be a problem...

10 LILY CHANGES:

1. Lily's hair is getting lighter and lighter everyday. I know Chris was surprised to see his little girl with dark brown hair, but she might look like him pretty soon!
2. Now that Lily is up and moving around, she is looking more like a toddler and less like a little chubby baby- how sad!
3. Lily is talking (babbling) ALL the time now. She even talks to people in the store.
4. Lily loved her baby food, but she's giving it up for table food. I think I've bought my last jar of baby food and will be working hard on making sure Lily gets a nutritious & and well-balanced diet.
5. Lily is finally wearing shoes. Last weekend Lily got her first pair of walking shoes! She's still not a big fan of shoes or socks, but she's slowly getting used to them.
6. Lily has finally realized that she has bows in her hair and she DOES NOT LIKE IT! BOOO! Even when she doesn't have a bow in her hair, she will stop and put her hand to her head just to make sure.
7. Lily is going down for naps on her own. She still wants to be rocked a little first and sometimes cries for a few minutes, but will go to sleep pretty quickly.
8. Lily is drinking from her sippy cup everyday now. We usually put water in it- she doesn't like to drink her milk from the sippy cup. I hope to have her off the bottle by her first birthday. Now, if I can just get her to hold it herself...
9. Lily is waving at everyone and everything. She even likes to wave at dogs!
10. Lily is starting to take steps! She can stand up by herself for quite awhile and takes a few steps when we walk her back and forth between mommy and daddy. This has become our nightly game. Sometimes I can't wait for her to walk and other times I want her to stay a baby. Lily has changed so much in 10 months!

Sadly :-( Lily is growing up. She looks like a big girl sitting there and she has her new walking shoes on too. Lily, I agree with your Nana about your Dad having to beat boys off with a stick. You are just too cute. Love, Mimi

Lily, your other G-mother is right on target, you are so beautiful, your dad will have a full time job,so tell him to make lots of money so he can stay home and keep the boys away. I am so glad that you are learning to wear shoes. Jack frost will certainly get those toes. Heather how did you do it? Love you all
