Today we started a new tradition at the Nichols house with Lily's first Advent Calendar. I was so excited for her to open it that I could only wait until 8:00 this morning! But, to my amazement, Lily didn't want to open it, even after I told her there was chocolate inside. I finally convinced her to open it and she had no problem eating the chocolate man on the horse inside!

Lily, I think you have the smartest mom around. She does the smartest things with you. Every day must be a pleasant surprise for you. She is doing things with you and for you that are priceless.
