A FUN FILLED FAMILY SUNDAY

Our fun filled family Sunday started out with French toast for breakfast! But Lily has been on a certain food kick lately, so this is what she wanted for breakfast.
I can't complain about her loving blueberries! Whenever she sees them, she yells, "Babas, babas!" I don't know why, but she loves them. She eats them with every meal.

This reminds me of Willy Wonka.
"Violet, you're turning violet!".

Then we did some yard work. Chris mowed, I weeded and Lily played with chalk on the sidewalk. She just had to have a ride with Daddy.

Taking a ride around the neighborhood with Daddy.

We have been working on colors for awhile now, so I decided to test Lily with her crayons.

A little art work. Lily pointing to red when I asked where it was. Yea!
Then we moved on to finger paints. Lily had fun trying out all the colors.
She started out slowly...

then dug right in!

Now for the hands!

Even though it was really hot outside, Lily did not want to go in, so we let her play for a little while in her diaper.
Playing on her play set.
Then we pulled out the bubbles and watched our little princess laugh!

Lily loves bubbles!

I had some blueberries last week and they were the best I've ever had. I wonder if they are in season or something?

Heather you are a great mother. You do such neat things with my granddaughter. What you do is inexpensive but costly. I am so lucky to have you in my family, Thanks. Love you all Grandmother

Mmmmm blueberries. Lily, that is good that you like blueberries. I know that you ate them up while you were at the lake too. I hope Mommy has your pretty artwork hanging up on the refrigerator.
:-) Love, Mimi
