About a month ago, we had a lot of rain. There was a pool of water in our backyard and the frogs thought it was a great place to lay their eggs. It quickly started drying up, so we rescued some and brought them inside!
Our tadpole habitat.
We also have some outside in the old baby pool. I just couldn't let them all dry up!
Swimming around!
Some of the bigger ones are starting to get little leg buds. Lily and Luke can't wait until they turn into frogs!
My grand kids are probably the smartest ones in Dallas.. My daughter-in-law just doesn't run out of things to teach them. Wait til the tail drops off. I bet a frog would be funny looking walking (hopping) around with a tail. He would look like the Geico thing. Tee Hee. Love you all, Gmth
