VALENTINE'S DAY 2012

Happy Valentine's Day!  We had a fun and busy day.  I got up early to make Chris bacon (that's real love!) and oatmeal, heart shaped bacon and toast for the kids.

 My sweet Valentine.

All ready for their Valentine scavenger hunt!

                                                           The clues.

This is where Luke got side tracked by the shoes.
It happens every time!

Luke found one!

 And here are the gifts!

 For Luke....

 and Lily.

Enjoying the chocolate.

Lily is really in to puzzles right now, so this was her favorite gift.
She had to put it together right away.

Working on a card for Daddy.

Helping to make chocolate pops for our play group party.

 Lunch!

Lily's Valentine card to her dinosaur friends. I'm really impressed with her writing.

Just a little dance party with his baby!

 Making brownies for dinner.

 Working on Valentine's cards.

Lily wanted to write her name on each one.

 Tah-da!

While Luke took his nap, we tried to get some number work in.

Pattern hearts.  Lily did one all by herself!
We played stack the sweethearts.

This week we started reading a Bible story and memorizing a Bible verse. Our first story was about how God created the world.  Lily's Bible verse is, "Lord, you have made so many things!"
Lily is working on drawings   for all the things God made.
                                       Valentine letter work.

                Brownie sundaes!

Mmmm!
This little girl really enjoys her sweets!

I do believe that my grands (both) are chocoholics!!! I don't see any dislike on either face. I want to see them sooooo badly, they are such beautiful, smart children. Don't tell anyone but they have a smart mother also. I love ALL of the pictures, thanks for keeping me abreast. Love you all,Gmth

Yes, it does look like they had a day filled with fun activities. Love all the pictures. Looks like Luke got a haircut (and I don't mean the one he gave himself with Papa's razor). :-)
Love, Mimi
