Here are a few of the things that are happening at the Nichols House:
Dino Obsession!
Lily is obsessed with dinosaurs. She loves watching Dino Dan and now has lots of dino toys to play with. She sleeps with them, gives them baths, feds them and makes me look up dinosaurs on the computer so we will know their names. She even drew these pictures a few days ago. I might be biased, but I think they are pretty good for a 3 year old.

Long Neckie (Brachiosaurus)

T-Rex
We are also working on writing her name, but just like her cousin Jackson, she doesn't want to be forced to learn. Maybe it's a teacher's kid thing!
Here are some more things about Lily:
She still loves playing outside, but also loves to watch T.V. Favorites shows are: Dino Dan, Diego, Kipper, Barney and Sesame Street.
Loves fruits, but not veggies.
She loves for me to tell her bedtime stories.
Is become more independent everyday. She likes to try everything herself!
Says the funniest things! She met me at the shower door yesterday and asked me how everything went. She looked just like a little stewardess! A few days ago, Luke hit her in the head with a plastic phone. She started crying and said he did it on purpose. After I explained that he did not do it on purpose and that he was a baby, she asked me to put him on the Naughty List!
Kissing her T-Rex!

He started taking steps by himself a few weeks before his birthday, but still wanted to crawl everywhere. The last few days he's just taken off! He can walk all the way across the room and can push himself up from a sitting position. I guess he's just trying to keep up with his big sister! He is turning into such a cute little boy. He still loves his mommy the best (as it should be) and would let me carry him all day if my back would allow it. Here are some more things about Luke:
His favorite words: mama, dada, no,no. dada (doggy).
He just started pointing at things.
He is a good eater and still likes veggies, but fruits are not his favorites.
Can sign more, finished and sometimes bath.
Loves playing with his sister
We are working on farm animals and their sounds. It's so cute to hear him talk!
Here are some videos of Luke walking and reading a book. Of course Luke didn't cooperate and turn the pages like he usually does. The second video is pretty shaky, but you can hear his cute little voice saying, "No, no!"

I am impressed with Lily's drawings. Who knows you may have a little "tomboy" on your hands. She loves animals and now dinosaurs. :-) I think that is wonderful. Love the videos. Luke does have a sweet little voice.
Love, Mimi
How precious, I really would like to see th em and just hug and hug. I am getting old and my grandchildren are growing up so fast. Lily is getting to be quite and young lady and so pretty. I think we got a model on our hands. Luke does have such a sweet little voice, he won't even know his grands. Little boys can be sweet, it's when they grow up they are not so sweet(hint, hint) Love you all, Gmth
