FAMILY TRIP TO THE FARM

We all went out to the farm yesterday. The weather was nice and we got to see the seasonal creek that flows through our land this time of the year. I'm sure Chris is happy not to have to bring water for awhile. We made a trip to the dump (very exciting- Lily covered her nose!) and Chris said he almost had a heart attack unloading the trailer by himself. I had to stay in the car and watch the kids (ha ha!). We're finally getting the place cleaned up and it' starting to look like a goat farm. We bought a hay ring for the goats because they make a big mess with the hay and then won't eat the hay on the ground. I've learned lots of interesting facts about goats lately! It looks like most of the females are pregnant and should give birth at the end of February or early March. I just hope it's warm by then and that Eeyore keeps the coyotes away!

Now, that's a big bale of hay!

Lily wanted to feed the goats, but they prefer to get their own hay.

Playing on the farm.

Happy and fat mommies.

I guess Lily needs some new farm jeans!

Chris getting a bite!

Chris looks like an excited Grandpa, He is going to be Gramps many times over. I am so happy the Grands are not afraid of the animals, teach then to be kind to them. Some children are mean to animals and that makes me really mad because the animals can't take up for themselves. The goats and eeyore seam to be friendly to you all. Love you all, Gmth
