My little girl is 2 1/2! Lily is becoming very independent and wants to do everything herself. She is talking up a storm! I was amazed the other day when I sat and listened to her talk nonstop for a couple of minutes. I asked her if she even took a breath and she said, " I just took a little one." She likes to retell books and read them to me and Luke. She is very imaginative and comes up with the craziest, funniest stories with her dolls and toys. She is such a little girl!
I guess I'm pretty lucky that the whining and not sharing lasted as long as it did, but it has finally reached our house. Now that Luke can crawl and grab Lily's toys, she wants to play with everything that he has and everything he is touching is her favorite toy! I'm trying to ignore the whining and be grateful that she is not throwing fits yet, but I'm sure those will come too.
Some Silly Lily Stories:
We were at Costco the other day when a young guy walked by.
Lily: Look at that guy.
Me: Yes, that's a guy.
Lily: That guy is cuuuuute!
Today we were playing in the play room and I was being silly and singing.
Me: Money, money, money, money. MONEY!
Lily: Do you really want my money?
Me: No.
Lily: I think you're talking about my money (in a very suspicious tone).
Me: I think you're crazy.

Lily is such a cute child. Poppy and I got a big kick out of listening to her talk. I especially liked the way she pronounced Kimberly's name. Too cute! Kimberly talked non-stop when she was that age too. :-)
