MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

We had a fun filled Memorial Day weekend. On Saturday morning we got up and went to Lowes to purchase new kitchen appliances. Our microwave has been slowly falling apart and our dishwasher isn't cleaning very well. Since we have been updating our kitchen, I talked Chris into buying all stainless steel. Of course Chris had been researching, and decided to go with an induction stove and convection oven. We also got a new microwave, french door refrigerator and a Bosch dishwasher. I can't wait to try them all out! My parents came over on Sunday and took Lily home for the night so we could get some house work done. We finished painting our room, cleaned out the garage and spent some time with our little boy.
On Monday we played in the new pool.
Luke's first time in the pool. Look at those chunky legs!

He's not too sure about the cold water.

I just love this picture!

Then we went to the park so Lily and Papa could go fishing.
Happy baby!

Hello cutie!

Luke's fishing overalls.

Had to get a shot of the worms in the back pocket!

Lily and her Barbie fishing pole.

Lily's first catch!

Lily wanted to touch the fish, but was not very happy when he started flipping around!

On the way home Chris called and said he bought a tractor! I guess he thought he needed another toy. It will come handy on our new land~ 8 acres in Blue Ridge.

It seems you had a vey busy memorial week-end. Your appliance sound great. You left me when you talked about the kinds they were. Don't know about all these new things. But I know they will make everything easier. So happy for you all. THe babies look as if they were enjoying themselves. Love you all, Gmth

Yes, it sounds like you all had an action packed Memorial Day weekend. I'm so jealous of all your new appliances. I know they will look really good in your kitchen. I love Luke's fishing overalls. He looks precious as always and has the prettiest blue eyes. I am glad Lily is not such a girlie girl that she can't go fishing once in a while. I bet she had a great time with Papa. Chris, I like your new tractor. Like father, like son. :-)
