On Monday we took a trip to the Dallas Arboretum with our friends Mandy and little Freddie. We got there early to try and beat the heat, but it was already pretty hot. We had fun looking at all the flowers and the flower houses.
The theme right now is the storybooks of Beatrix Potter.

You are braver than I, This heat is awful I can't breath when it is this hot. I went out today (early and picked some peas I had planted and didn't think I would make it. the kids looked like they had a great time. Hurry and get here. LoveGmth
I always loved Peter Rabbit. Looks like ya'll had a fun time of it even tho it was hot. I read in a book recently that in the south there were four seasons, almost summer, summer, still summer, and Christmas. Thought that was very fitting for the state of Texas! (Oklahoma too)
