4 MONTHS

Luke is 4 months old today and I can't believe how much he is growing and changing. He laughed for the first time on 4/1/10. It was just a few little giggles, but it made me cry! It takes a lot of tickling, nibbling and belly blowing to get this boy to laugh, but it's worth it.
I think we might have another mini Frankie!

Luke started trying to roll from his back to his stomach on 4/8/10 and actually did two days later on 4/10/10. He still needs some help getting his arm out every now and then, but he's a little roller now! We are still working on tummy time, which is not Luke's favorite activity. It makes me wonder why he works so hard to roll over and then gets upset when he realizes he's on his tummy. Some more things about Luke:
~he loves to squeal, especially at night.
~always gets a big smile when he sees Mommy and Daddy, and when Lily talks to him.
~he is reaching for and grabbing his toys.
~EVERYTHING goes right to his mouth! His hands are always in his mouth. He has been teething for two weeks.
~he takes 3 naps during the day and nurses every 3-3 1/2 hours.
~he is always moving his little legs!
~wearing 6 months clothes and size 2-3 diapers.
~had his first trips to restaurants (while he was awake) at Rockfish and SmashBurger.
~had his first play date (again, that he was awake for) at Mrs. Cris' house.
~loves taking baths with Mommy and Lily.

I took Luke to the doctor today and she said we could start him on rice cereal! Unfortunately he fell asleep while we were waiting on his shots, so he had a rude awakening! He only cried for a minute afterwards. Here are his stats:
Weight: 16 lbs. 1 oz. (80th %) I still cannot believe he is this big!
Height: 25 1/2 in. (75th%)
Head Cir.: 16 7/8 in. (70th%)

Pictures and video of first cereal to come!

I can't get over how much Luke has changed and how big he has gotten. Looks like he has the prettiest blue eyes. When ya'll come home for the summer we will have to get a picture of Frankie, Chris and Luke all together. :-)
