I am about a week behind on Lily's 13 month post- I forgot! Lily has really been on the move this month. She's everywhere, in everything and wants to let you know that she wants everything! Unfortunately, this also comes out when we go to the store. She wants to walk on her own and touch EVERYTHING or else she throws a fit! I remember wondering what was wrong with moms who let their kids do that- now that's me! But I do have to say that I don't ignore her when she does it and I am trying to teach her early how to behave. How else will they learn?Here is Lily's 13th month in numbers:
5- the number of nights a week she makes it through the night without waking up. It's progress!
3- the number of pacies Lily likes to sleep with. 1 for her mouth and 1 for each hand.
2- the number of new words she has started saying this month: yes and thank you!
2- the number of items Lily likes to carry around. She has to have something in each hand, especially if it's food.
1- pee-pee in the potty! She does try to get on the potty, but then wants to right back off.

What a smart Princess. When you have this smarts, that accounts for some of the high numbers. So if she gets 5 on the stay in bed, her smarts would cancel out all but two. Mommy now you know how to calculate. Love you all.Grandmother
I think you have a normal inquisitive child who likes to touch and inspect everything. Heather, Lily is lucky to have such a wonderful mom. :-)
