CHRISTMAS WITH MOMMY & DADDY

After our trip to South Carolina we came home and open gifts at my parents house. Lily opened her stocking and gifts from me and Chris and then did the same with Nana and Papa's gifts. Lily got lots of new toys, some clothes and new hair accessories. I had to go home and clean out her play room to make room for her new toys. It was kind of sad to have to put up some of her baby toys, but she's a little toddler now!

Nana & Papa got Lily two of the vintage Fisher-Price toys that we had growing up, a chatter telephone and a music box teaching clock. Remember them?

It's a kitchen!

What's in there?

Hey! It's for you!
Lily really likes her new kitchen. She gets out the pots and pans, stirs with the spoon and "eats" the food. It is so funny how she knows how to do this, but I guess she watches me make dinner and copies me. She's all girl.
Lily is pretty much walking on her own now, but she still gets scared after 4-5 steps and sits down to crawl. I think she will really be walking by her birthday!

What a big girl!!!! Since she left SC, she is walking, cooking, and doing all sorts of things. You will have to build another room to hold all of her toys. Give her a kiss and tell her her grandmother loves her very much.

Sounds like Lily had a big Christmas. :-) I do remember the Chatter telephone as my children had one also. All those toys brings back memories of my own children. Playing peek-a-boo must be one of Lily's favorite things to do right now. She played it while she was here too. Glad you got a picture of it.
Love, Mimi
