I was hoping we would make it a year before Lily got any kind of an illness, but I guess 10 1/2 months is pretty good. She started getting a runny nose on Tuesday and by Wednesday it was really bad! She couldn't breathe through her nose and it was running constantly- poor baby! She is also teething which makes it even worse. She has gunk coming out of her nose and drool coming out of her mouth. I have never seen so much bodily fluids come out of a child (and I taught Kindergarten!). I chased her all day yesterday with tissues, saline nasal spray, the nose aspirator and the humidifier- LOTS of fun. After two days of all that, she seems to be on the mend. I think we will survive Lily's first cold.

Poor little grandbaby. :-( It is so not fun to have a young child with a cold. Grandpappy (PeePaw)has been sick too, but is feeling better now. Lily, I hope you will feel better soon. :-)

She has been really lucky. But you being a stay at home mom she is not exposed to all the sicknesses that daycare babies are. Just give her plenty of liquids. Tell her to stay well so she can enjoy Christmas and all the Santa stuff. Give her a kiss from her grandmother and tell her I'm sorry shes sick and I love her
