HOLIDAY BAKING

Yesterday my mom came over and we baked Christmas goodies. We made banana nut bread (Chris' Grandmother's recipe- YUMMY!), Texas Trash or Chex Mix, pralines, chocolate drizzled pretzels, almond bark popcorn and rolo candies. Lily helped by pulling out all of our Tupperware and pots and pans.

Rolo Candies
So easy! Put rolos on pretzels in oven at 250 for 3 minutes. Then gently press on pecans and refrigerate. So good!

Almond Bark Popcorn
Another easy recipe. Melt 2 squares vanilla almond bark in microwave for 1 minute and stir. Pop butter popcorn and pour in bowl. Reheat almond bark for 10 seconds and drizzle over popcorn and stir. Add sprinkles and lay on wax paper. Addictive!

Nana with her grandchildren
Toby doesn't know he weighs 35 pounds. He thinks he's a little baby!

Yummy, Yummy wish you was here to help me make candy, that is something that I don't do well. Can make cakes but don't have luck with candy. I''ll bet the Princess was a big help. Doesn't matter tho at least you all had something beautiful to look at. Give her a big kiss from me. Love you all

It sounds like ya'll had lots of fun baking. What a nice Mom, Daughter and Granddaughter thing to do. Love the picture of your Mom, Lily and Toby (LOL). I guess Toby didn't want to be left out. Can't wait to try the Rolo Preztels as I love Rolo's and pretzels and it seems like an easy recipe for me. We are all looking forward to your vist. :-)
Love, Mimi
