After months of waiting for a little tooth to come in, I had pretty much given up hope. I stopped looking in her mouth everyday- which Lily did not appreciate anyways. But, today while I was feeding her, I thought I saw something white on her bottom gum. After a few minutes of screaming from Lily, I finally got a good look in her mouth. THERE'S SOMETHING IN THERE! There are a few small white bumps on her lower gum. There are more on her right side, but some on the left side as well. Maybe she will get both bottom teeth at one time! I am pretty sure this is the reason she has been waking up at night lately. It couldn't be because she is a little bit spoiled.....

You want them to wait as long as possible to get their teeth! My oldest, Kristen, didn't get her first tooth until she was almost one. AND, she has never had a cavity and has wonderful, healthy teeth (her dentist/orthodontist told me the longer it takes for them to come in the better). Plus she is a huge milk drinker (even at almost 21 years old)! Kaitlyn, on the other hand got her first tooth at about 4-5 months and she has had 1-2 cavities over her lifetime and she rarely drinks milk (she's my bottled water drinker).
Yippee! She is finally getting teeth eventhough she seems to eat pretty well without them. :-)
I knew that she would get them at the right time, and she is not spoiled!! She is the perfect grandbaby. Everything aside, I almost wore a spoon out rubbing gums, on the first one, until I could heard the tooth on the spoon. Now the second one you will let them get their teeth and not worry them to distraction. Love you all
