Today we went to the grocery store and Lily got to sit in the buggy! It was her first time and she did such a great job, no fussing. I was looking for lunch meat, when a man came up to us and said, "Sorry, but I had to come over and tell you that your baby is beautiful. She was looking at me from across the produce and she is gorgeous! Her hair, her eyes, her skin- she's going to be Miss America someday!" Well, you know I had a big mommy smile and told him, "Well,that will be great for college. Thank you!"
Last weekend we went to Sprout's (I love this store!- it's like Whole Foods, but better) and a lady stopped us to ask if I made Lily's dress- I should have lied, but had to confess that I bought it at The Children's Place. She said Lily was the cutest baby, and she looked like a little doll. Then, when we were checking out, an older man said, "That's the prettiest baby I've seen in 10 years!"
These are just a few of the comments that I can remember, but we get them all the time. I'm not trying to toot my own horn- well, Lily's horn, but she's pretty stinkin' cute!

I,as a Grandmother, really don't have to have anyone tell me that she is beautiful. I might be old but the old eyes don't lie and they tell me she is so beautiful.
You all are going to have to carry a mighty big stick when she is a teenager. I love you Lily Bean
She is a cutie!
She really is a cute baby. I look back at the new born pictures that we took and she was pretty then. I proudly display her picture as the background on my computer at work and I get positive comments all the time. The child does not take a bad picture. :-)
