OUR LITTLE TROOPER!
We are all so proud of Lily's nephew Jackson. He started his new infusions on Monday. It is called Sub-Q, and instead of going in for infusions every month that last from 4-6 hours, he will now have his infusions at home once a week, and it will only take 2 hours. The down side is that he has to have 2 needles in his stomach- ouch! The medicine goes into his stomach, leaving 2 swollen spots. Over 24 hours, the bulges will go down as the medicine is absorbed into his body. He was such a trooper getting his first Sub-Q. He didn't cry (although his mommy did a little!) and next time his mommy and daddy will have to put the needles in all by themselves. We are hoping that these new infusions will help his immunity levels (they are checked every couple of months and his have never reached a normal level). Check out his blog to the right for more info on PID (Primary Immune Deficiencies) and pictures from Disney World! Please pray for our little trooper!

Jackson is braver than some adults would be. He is a little trooper. I will certainly say a prayer for him and hope that his immunity levels will improve. :-)
Jackson, you are a brave young man. I pray that God will restore you to perfect health, just don't quit believing and it will happen.Lily's Grandmother, Carol
