3 & 5 YEAR OLD CHECKUPS

The kids had their yearly check ups at the beginning of the month.  Here are their stats:

Luke

weight- 31 lb.  6 oz. (45 %)

height- 37.5 in. (47%)

BMI- 15.7 (41%)

Luke wants to be a ninja and a knight!  He pretends to be one every day, when he's not making guns out of Legos.  I'm hoping this is a passing phase.  We're still working on shapes and colors.  It's hard to teach him when he won't sit still!  He wants to be outside digging a hole or riding his tractor.  He's still a mommy's boy and wants me to hold him a lot.  He's my sweet little boy!

Lily

weight- 36 lb.  4 oz. (26%)

height- 42.8 in. (57%)

BMI- 14.0 (14%)

Lily is definitely in the princess stage!  She loves dressing up and singing.  If she's not dressed up like a princess, she's drawing.  She can draw all day... and she's very good at it!  She also loves to be outside riding her bike and playing with Luke.  We are working on writing numbers 1 to 20 and reading books.  She knows 25 to 30 sight words and we are working on sounding out words.  She is doing such a good job.  She's such a smart little girl!
