Happy March!
And Happy Birthday to the best Dad and Papa!
On Friday we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by having green eggs and ham and pink ink for breakfast!
We watched Green Eggs and Ham, The Sneetches and The Zaxs with some Dr. Seuss characters.
Some of the Dr. Seuss books we read.
On Sunday we made spring rolls and sushi for dinner. YUM!!!
On Monday we started In the Kitchen with Kids Week. We talked about fruits and vegetables...
and then we painted with them!
And ate them!
Messy boy!
Luke decided he liked eating them more than painting.
Lily and Luke's food stamps!
Today we smelled lots of different spices.
Most of the spices got an, "Ewww!" from the kids.
Then we put glue on paper and covered it with spices!
SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE!
Tomorrow we are making plates with a balanced diet and on Thursday we are baking peanut butter cookies for our peanut butter bird feeder play date!

It all looks like so much fun!
Heather, you are such a good mom! I just know your children will be the smartest ones in school!
Looks like they are having lots of fun, but learning at the same time. I can remember celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday when my kids were in school. :-)
Love, Mimi
Heather I don't know what to say!!! I had thought she will run out of ideas for "my grands" but I was wrong. You still come up with the neatest things for them to do.
Messy or not it doesn't bother you, you just take it in stride. I can't believe that Chris went all the way across this country and found you. I am in awe every time I get pictures from you, in fact when I see you have added pictures, I can't wait to see what you are doing now. Love you all, Gmth
