LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2011

We took a 3 day camping trip to Lake Ray Roberts this weekend.  We had a lot of fun taking long walks every morning, cooking and eating all of our meals outside and playing with the kids.  I think we are going to try and go camping every month.  We already have our spot reserved for October!

All set up and ready to camp!

Finding our first geo cache.

What's inside?

We took long walks every morning after breakfast.  The weather was so nice!

Luke loves a rock!

Playing on the sandy beach.

Cooking hotdogs!

Lily setting the table.

Dirty boy.

Dirty girl.

Fishing with Daddy.

I laughed when I saw this one!  Luke hates for Lily to hold his hand.
I'm a little scared of the sibling rivalry to come!

Camper hair!

Poor Luke scratched his knees.

Naughty Luke biting his baby.

Giving her a kiss to say sorry.

Watermelon Time!

Luke found a big stick!

Those are such good pictures of everyone. Looks like ya'll had a really good time camping. It's such a fun family activity to do. It brings back such fond memories for me when our kids were younger and we used to go camping. We had lots of fun cooking outdoors and sitting around the campfire. The grandkids will remember this time forever! :-)
Love, Mimi

WOW,WOW< What can I say, you are making such memories for my grandchildren, they are going to be such rounded children. I am glad that both you and Chris like to do things with them. What else is there to do that enjoy your children? I have one complaint!!! This is something that always happens, no one stops to say, to the picture taker" let me take the camera and make some pictures of you" So don't be bashful, say," sombody needs to take pictures of Me" Love all of the pictures, Luke is the typical boy. Love you all, Gmth

These are GREAT pictures. And as everyone said before, wonderful memories in the making. I never got to camp with my own children (we just didn't have the time), but I remember camping with my family growing up and I loved it! Looks like ya'll had a good time and a lot of fun.
