This month I started Calendar Time with Lily. After breakfast we figure out the next number to add to the calendar, what day it is and what month we are in. Then Lily says the date. We sing the days of the week, month of the year and Lily looks out the window and tells me what the weather looks like.
Yes, it was cloudy today, but no rain.
This week we have been working on the letter M.

What a smart granddaughter we have. She will already know the basics before she even gets to kindergarten. Maybe she can just skip kindergarten altogether and go straight to 1st grade.

I think it's great that you are teacher and that you KNOW what you need to be teaching your children BFORE they get to school. Your children will be the smartest in the class!!
