THE KIDS ARE HERE!

On Friday we decided to check on the goats. We knew the babies could start coming any day, but I really didn't think we would find any, so I didn't take our camera. When we got to the land, Chris noticed that one of the pregnant goats looked a lot thinner. He went to look for a baby and then we heard something crying! We were so excited to find a little white kid! Chris decided to check the shed and found another baby! Twins!! They were so cute and Lily loved them. However, the mommy goat was pretty protective. She was ok with Chris, me or the donkey getting close to the babies, but would butt the other goats if they got too close. She even tried to butt Lily! I was so glad to see she was being a good mommy.

Our first goats on day 4.

Chris went back out on Saturday and another set of twins had just been born! They were still wet and a little yucky, but that's life on the farm!

On Sunday the whole family went out to see the new babies. The second set was hidden, so we didn't want to mess with them.

The older babies came out to play!

Brotherly love!

The pictures of Luke with the baby goat are just precious. You need to send that in to some family magazine and win a prize. The baby goats are sooo cute.

These children are so lucky to have access to all kinds of animals, just emphsize to be gentle and kind to them. Would love to be there at this time to see the family grow, Ha, Ha, Love you all, Gmth
