14 MONTHS OLD, A HAIRCUT & A TRIP TO THE DALLAS ARBORETUM

What a busy weekend! Lily turned 14 months yesterday! Here are a few things she is doing:
Lily is trying to copy everything she hears. She can now name the noises for a chicken, dog, cat and gorilla (Goodnight Gorilla). She can point to the dog, cat, pig, gorilla, and baby in books. She LOVES to read and now acts like she is reading anything with writing! She can open anything with zippers, buttons, etc. This keeps me very busy! She climbs on everything. This keeps me busy too!
We are still introducing the potty, but no more pee-pees yet. I try to put her on a couple of times a day and this is usually what happens.
This is Lily's idea of sitting on the potty!
Lily had her first official bang cut this weekend. The back is still pretty short, or looks that way because of her wavy hair, so it will be awhile before the scissors get a hold of it.

Yesterday we went to the Dallas Arboretum for Dallas Blooms. The flowers were gorgeous after all the rain last week. Lily loved the flowers and had a great time. We met a couple of Dobie friends there and the girls got to pet farm animals, play in some storybook houses and smell the flowers. Unfortunately, Lily fell as soon as we got there. This was the 3rd time this week that her poor little head hit the concrete! Now she has two bruises and a big strawberry on her forehead. Poor Lily!

I LOVE the picture of the 3 girls. How cute! And I love their names too.

That princess is just too smart. It shows when a good mother can stay home with the little ones. She is so beautiful and it might be that she will like to grow her own flowers. Give her a big kiss for me. Love you all. Grandmother
