CAROLINA GIRL & 6 MONTHS OLD

I guess my little prayers worked, because Lily was PERFECT on the flight to South Carolina. She slept when we took off, flirted with a young guy on the plane (we are in trouble!), and then fell asleep when we landed. No crying or fussing! Great-Grandmother was so happy to see her little baby and everyone was so surprised at how much she had grown. We had a lazy first couple of days and just enjoyed all the home cooked meals! Today we went to the Columbia Museum and learned all about South Carolina history. Lily had so much fun. She is truly a Carolina girl!

Lily turned 6 months old yesterday! We are still working on sitting up and she is starting to back up into a sitting position. I am working on getting her to wave bye-bye and holding her own bottle (she can do it, but why hold it when mommy will?). I have been signing "milk" pretty much since birth and she's still not getting it. The practice continues.....
