Well- it was probably a one time event, but it sure was nice! Lily went down last night around 11 PM and slept until 6 AM. Of course, it scared me at first- why is she sleeping so long?
I decided last night that we had to get Lily on a schedule:
9 PM - Bath time
10 PM- bedtime story & feeding
11PM - sleep
We'll see how it goes. I also decided to try and put her in the playard that has been beside our bed since she was born (it's pretty much just collecting dust right now). I rocked her to sleep and gently laid her down. She opened her eyes, took one look around and decided that it wasn't the place for her and started screaming! She ended up back in bed with me. I hope to have her in her own crib by summer time- baby steps mommy, baby steps!
